And.....she's even become a great asset to the deer hunter!


Last, but not least....She becomes so excited when she & Sassy run & play that my husband & I have both been knocked to the ground. No kidding...she's one strong girl!

The Story of Three Dogs...

Snow, our sweet Siberian Husky, decided he would become part of our family 9 years ago. We had recently built our house and he just walked up the drive to our house and wouldn't leave. He loved to howl and play but he is now an "old man" and mostly sleeps. Even in his younger years he never met a stranger and had no clue of what it meant to be on guard.
My husband brought Sassy the Border Collie home after her owner threatened to take her to the shelter. She was so shy & timid that he said she couldn't be trained. While still shy with strangers, she is very happy & playful with our family. Still, she's too afraid of people to be protective.

Thus, the quest to find a guard dog began. While searching on the Internet, I was fortunate enough to find the Shiloh Shepherd. After contacting the breed founder and learning more about the breed from the Shiloh Shepherd forum, I knew this was the dog for us. Sweet, intelligent and PROTECTIVE!
